What should I know before my first lesson?
Although we will start with the very basics, it is always useful if you are aware of the following:
- While carving, ensure to keep your fingers far from the knife. It is advised to begin carving slowly to get acquainted with the knife and develop better coordination.

It is highly beneficial to have the piece being carved placed on a smooth sturdy surface.
